Established by anonymous donors to be awarded to students of high potential for success in their careers. Those eligible must be Holmes County residents pursuing the fields of teaching, engineering, science, nursing, or selected pre-med programs. |

Baserman-Irving Family Scholarship
Established by Mark and Jane Baserman to assist eligible students attending classes at either the Holmes County Higher Education Center in Millersburg or The University of Akron | Wayne College in Orrville. 1 award of $500; Renewable. |
Jennifer Bird-Duff Memorial Scholarship
In memory of Jennifer, a former West Holmes student athlete. Awarded to a West Holmes graduating senior who has participated in athletics and/or other extracurricular and service activities. 2 awards of $500; Renewable. |

Awarded to graduating seniors or adult students in the West Holmes school district pursuing the arts, which could include Literature, Drama, Music, Graphic Arts, Art, and Architecture. The scholarship was established by the daughter and grandchildren of Herbert and Corrinne. 1 award of $500; Renewable. |

Donald C. Egger Memorial Scholarship
Established in 2006 by Elaine Egger Hand to honor her father and to assist Holmes County residents having financial need as they pursue their higher education goals. Those eligible for this scholarship must be Holmes County residents pursuing the field of teaching. 1 award of $500; Renewable. |
French Ridge Title Company Scholarship
Established by attorney Laurel J. Schmid and awarded to a female West Holmes High School graduate pursuing a Bachelor's Degree at The University of Akron's Wayne College or its Holmes County Higher Education Center. Student must demonstrate financial need. 1 award of $500; Renewable |

In memory of Aimee, a former West Holmes High School student. Awarded to a female West Holmes graduating senior who has participated in athletics (preferably softball or volleyball). 2 awards of $500; Renewable. |

Paul & Esther Haudenschild Memorial Music Scholarship
To honor his parents and their love of music, George and Shirley Haudenschild have created this scholarship which is to be awarded to a graduating senior of West Holmes, Hiland, Loudonville, or Waynedale High School with Holmes County residency and who will be pursuing a degree in music or has been involved in high school music programs. 1 award of $500; Renewable. |
Holmes County Historical Society Scholarship
The Holmes County Historical Society Scholarship fund was established in 2006 by Historical Society members to assist Holmes County high school seniors demonstrating financial need as they pursue their higher education goals in the field of history. Two renewable Historical Society scholarships are to be awarded annually, one award of $250 to a graduating senior of West Holmes High School, and the other award of $250 to a graduating senior of Hiland High School. |

Holmes County Education Foundation Scholarship
Awarded primarily on the basis of financial need. Academic promise and other non-economic criteria also considered. Preference given to Holmes County, Ohio residents. May pursue any area of study and attend any accredited institution. Award amounts vary; Renewable. |

In memory of Jennifer, a former West Holmes High School student. Awarded to female West Holmes graduating senior who has participated in athletics. 1 award of $500; Renewable. |

Killbuck Area Scholarship
In honor of the Virgil & Ruth Shreiner family. The Killbuck Area Scholarship is need-based and will be awarded to a graduating high school senior pursuing post-secondary education that has attended either Killbuck Elementary School or Clark Elementary School. 1 award of $500; Renewable. |
Helen Logsdon Scholarship
Awarded to Holmes County students attending The Ohio State University or any of its branches. Preference given to graduating high school seniors with strong academics, involvement in student activities, and work experience. 1 award of $1,000. See a guidance counselor for the OSU application. February 1st deadline. Note: Those who apply for this scholarship must also apply with the Holmes County Education Foundation scholarship application. |

Master's Service Scholarship
Created by an anonymous donor, to be awarded to Holmes County, Ohio residents attending a Christian college such as Cedarville University, Liberty University, Moody Bible Institute, Mt. Vernon Nazarene University or Taylor University, and/or pursuing the fields of ministry, music, music therapy, or pharmacy. |

In memory of Bill, former owner of Patten Drilling, Inc. Awarded to West Holmes graduating seniors majoring in education and/or business. 1 award of $500; Renewable. |
Dr. Owen & Mildred Patterson Scholarship
Established in 2006 by the family and friends of Owen and Mildred in memory of Dr. Owen Patterson, a former Holmes County physician. Those eligible for this scholarship must be Holmes County residents pursuing advanced education and training. 1 award of $500; Renewable. |

Raymond J. and Louella F. Patterson Scholarship for Teachers
The late Betty Lauber and her husband, Thomas, established this scholarship fund to memorialize Betty's parents, Raymond J. and Louella F. Patterson. The purpose of this program is to enhance the quality of education by helping teachers receive advanced training and develop additional skills that will improve their ability to work with students in the classroom. |
Sauerbrey Memorial Scholarship

Blair Slutz Memorial Education Scholarship
Established in 2006 by the family and friends of the late Blair Slutz to honor Blair's commitment to students and their pursuit of education. The scholarship will provide financial assistance to graduating seniors from Hiland, Waynedale or West Holmes High School with Holmes County residency that are pursuing the field of education at a higher institution. Blair's thirty year career in education included teaching, coaching, and administration. 1 award, $500; Renewable. |

Francis Brundige Scholarship Must be a student at The Ohio State University or its branches. There is no restriction as to the area of your major. Must be a Holmes County resident. 1 award, approximately $1,300.00. Non-renewable.
Purdy Memorial Scholarship In memory of Sydney J. and Georgia M. Purdy, a former West Holmes High School math teacher. Must be a West Holmes graduating senior. < 20 awards, $500.00-$1,000.00. Non-renewable.
